Elisa Imperilee's heady blend of melodic vocals are back with her first release of the year 'Sinking' on 27th March 2020. A stark reflection of the times we live in, the song explores highly relevant themes such as greed, exploitation and deceit and is the first of three singles marking her return to releasing and performing. The singles are being self-released with the generous support of the Help Musicians Do It Differently Fund.

The singles come after a transformative year of personal healing and growth for Elisa and all three focus on the themes of working things out, mirroring her journey from isolation and confusion to regaining her voice and finding a new sense of purpose and meaning in the world.

As always the singles have been produced by Elisa's childhood friend Srigala and the pair even made the artwork together. Building on the theme of 'working things out' each single's artwork contains a puzzle, the first of which is a dot to dot laid over a beautiful collage crafted from discarded Evening Standard newspapers.

With a series of single releases scheduled across 2020 you can expect more socially conscious and self-reflective tracks with lyrics that pack a punch.
